Hello current and prospective members. Please allow me to tell you a little about myself and the reason that I founded the FAJP. I have a degree in Paralegal Studies and am currently working on a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field. I am a stay at home mother so I was looking for something I could do as well as use my degree to some fashion. This is when I started First Coast Judgment Recovery. At the time that I started this business I was told that “you cannot do this business in Florida”. There was a small group of people that believed that you could do it, but there were people who strongly advised against it. I decided at that time that I needed to work out of the state of Florida while I gained some experience and examined the issues that were presented in Florida. Since then We have developed a method and the contracts and started doing business in Florida. The business works. The only problem facing Judgment Recovery Specialists that I see is EDUCATION. This is especially true with new people entering the Judgment Recovery field. This is the reason that FAJP was started. We are stronger united then we would be if everyone and anyone started on their own. We have to view Florida like a house of cards, one slip and it could take the whole house.
I am committed to see that every new and old Judgment Recovery professional in Florida has a place that they can go to for support and education. We are still growing but remember this, CAJP (California’s Association) is one of the largest if not the largest in the country, but they started with only six members and since have grown to the place where they are today. I want that for Florida. We can do this business, we can grow FAJP and we can make money. If you have any questions about the association or does this business work, please email me directly at: shoffmeyer@gmail.com |
